MY STORY
Hi there and a big warm welcome!
I’m Trudy and this apparel project is by Trudy Letters.
It is such a pleasure to bring words to life and create beautiful handmade pieces for your events, homes and hearts.
I am extremely blessed with a wonderful husband and two children. I live in Brisbane, which is in the sunny state of Queensland, Australia.
I stumbled across lettering in the beginning of 2016 after the birth of my firstborn daughter, when I was looking for some Scripture to be hung in my home. Upon realising I loved writing beautiful letters, I had many requests from others to create art for them as well. I am so thankful for this journey and all those who have supported me along the way. It has morphed from something that God gave me in seed form, into a growing and increasingly thriving endeavour.
So far my favourite projects have included: painting 19 bathroom doors and a set of stairs for a local school, designing and lettering my best selling Advent + Easter Cards and participating in an annual local Handmade Market with other artisans. Each year I show myself that I can overcome limiting mindsets and that big things start in the small every day steps.
Ultimately, my desire to create beautiful pieces for you is deeply rooted in my love for the Almighty Creator. He is the one who has given me a passion for pretty things and the ability to create from raw materials. God has filled me to overflowing, that I must write of His wonderful love, and continue to give just a little glimpse of His beautiful message through lettering.
Enjoy being there and exploring my designs that I've now got on apparel!
All designs have been made by Trudy Henley and are sent to a local Brisbane printing business to finish off your item! They use high quality materials (we picked mostly the As Colour brand for your clothing), print with eco-friendly water-based inks and package your items in compostable bags! They also recycle their waste. We have teamed up with a business you and I can trust.
My heart is that we can wear our faith!
Peace and love,
Trudy
